Translating WoodMart, Main theme or child theme?

    Hello Xtemos!

    I have a question regarding translating the theme with Loco Translate. Should i pick the main theme, when translating or select the child theme?

    The reason i ask is, because i dont want to loose the translation that i’ve done, when updating the theme?

    In your video guide, you select the main theme and not the child theme, hence i’m asking.

    Or should i simple select the main theme and then select the language folder? (languages/themes/woodmart)

    Hello,

    You need to translate Woodmart parent theme and save the translation in wp-content/languages/themes/

    In this case, your translation will remain even after the theme update
