Latest update – HEADER disappeared

After the latest Woodmart update, my header just disappeared. I know that you guys have been trying to migrate to Header Builder, but for some reason the new headers I created under Header Builder does not show up, and the old ‘Enable Header’ button also disappeared.

Can you help to take a look please?

Hello,

Our old header settings were deprecated since 2.0 version and we finally removed it to clear our theme from a lot of unnecessary code. So after the update, our header builder function is turned on so you need to configure a new header for your website. Actually, there is no much work there. You just need to change colors, logo image, and top bar text in Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Header builder. You can find all the necessary tutorials and instructions for this in our documentation https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/

Sorry i think there is some misunderstanding. What I meant was I HAVE made new header using the Header Builder, but it does NOT show up. See attached

So i think there is an issue of it NOT being activated in the new update

Hello,

You have set the white background that is why your logo is not visible and other elements

You need also add menu element http://prntscr.com/l5wfg5

So apparently I can only see the changes when I’m logged in as admin, but for unlogged-in users it’s still the same white background…

Last 2 quick questions:
– how do I remove the gap appeared between the header and the first row (hero image)?
– for some reason the menu doesn’t stick when scroll down, even though I’ve set it to stick? see screenshot

1. Put margin-top: -40px for the upper row http://prntscr.com/l5z9ot

2. Deactivate the plugin ensuring this option http://prntscr.com/l5z8q3 and check the issue again.

Thanks! The first issue was solved!

On the second one, did you mean by deactivating the ‘Header and Footer Script’ plugin? I’ve done this and the “insert script to Head’ is gone (screenshots) but the menu is still not sticky for some reason?

Please, deactivate all external plugins that are not related to our theme first. Especially disable all optimization and cache plugins. And switch to the parent theme as well.
