I do not use the short description at all, so I do want to have the full product description over the “Add to cart” where the short description is placed at the product page.

So, why do not you insert the content into the Short description? It will appear in the place above Add to cart button. Seems, I am confused with what you want.

Our site is connected via API to our WMS -system that send out the description to maybe 40 different sites. All the products with description, stock, pictures is uploaded in the WMS and the WMS the communicate to all the sites. Our WMS can only send out text with the general description. That is why our only option is to change the place where the big description is.
In this case, you will need to customize the Woocommerce template. Such modification is not covered by our support as we do not customize third parties plugins. We can provide custom CSS for minor changes.
