Hello,
1. No, it is not possible. The rewriting text with the free Loco is the easiest and save method
2. You can as menu items to menu as you wish. Navigate to Appearance > Menu > choose the menu and edit https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide
