Blog excerpt from dummy text showing although the blogs have been updated

I have updated the dummy blog topic with new content, but on the homepage and blog page, the dummy excerpt is showing and cannot find where to update the text

Your issue is not clear enough. What do you mean saying “cannot find where to update the text”
In order to change the excerpt content, enter the post and insert the text into the excerpt field http://prntscr.com/le1ayw If you leave this field empty the excerpt will be generated from the first paragraph of your post automatically in accordance with the settings in the Theme settings > Blog.
The excerpt field is enabled in the Screen options on the post page: http://prntscr.com/le1bvo
