    Coming back
I want a simple category gallery like the one attached (target):
    – 6 small photos, leading to store categories when clicked, with text below.

Your last words: Well, you will have to make the choice more heavy slider or simple image + custom heading or automatic caption.

    1. Xtemos category gallery: for me, your hover has negative aesthetic value (weird grey halo), is useless on mobiles, dispatches an info which is not needed and possibly misleading.
What you say is that, though you made it, you say it can’t be changed.
Can you confirm that it’s correct?

    2. Simple images from WP bakery
I uses this, for instance here
    https://polinacouture.com/galerie-des-tissus/
Can you confirm that it’s not possible to change the letters (ie choice of font + size)?
    If possible, how is it?

    3. wp wakery media gallery + custom design for caption
Thanks to your explanation, I found how to do it. Here is an example with 1 image, it’s enough to start
    https://polinacouture.com/aaa/
I talked about the font that I want to be in line with the theme (your palanquin).
But here, my main issue is the following: the page is loading the small image that I want for the gallery (cc 300×300 yet), but also the image source which is much bigger. I don’t mind resizing the image, but shall I do so that page loads only 1 image where it’s needed?

    4. Since I have wpbakery via you, I have no access to their support.
Did you contact them about this gallery? Do you confirm that it’s possible to make the simple targeted gallery?

    5. if your theme and wpbakery are not able to make that ultra basic gallery, is there a wp tool that could do the job?

    Kind regards

    Hello,

In order to get this grid, you need to use a single image element and custom heading

You will find here Single image and Custom heading here: https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/learning-more/content-elements/

    Hello,
    Problem here is the following:
    – Theme font is Palanquin
    – Though on google, Palanquin is not in visual composer.

I don’t see the logic or consistency in selling a theme with Palanquin, and prevent your customers to use the richness of this font.

You have the licence for wpbakery. You certainly can add the font in VC

    Hi,
Wondering why we do not achieve to do this …
On the page, there are 2 areas where there are your info boxes: in the middle, and the other one, which we talk about, and is rather on the bottom.

The first one is fixed, does not move.

The 2nd one is moving when scrolling. Why is that so? No idea on my side. Could that explain why there can’t be 2 info boxes on same line on mobile?

    Kind regards

    Hello,

Our theme supports Palanquin, WP Bakey Page builder supports the default theme font. In the result, you can apply this font on your site. http://prntscr.com/lnam4x

On the page, there are 2 areas where there are your info boxes:

You have inserted the template twice. Remove that one you do not need.

Could that explain why there can’t be 2 info boxes on same line on mobile?

Enter the column settings and set 6 columns on mobile to have 2 items in the row.

Here are video tutorials on how to do that https://wpbakery.com/video-tutorials/

    Hello,
As just written, Palanquin, like many other excellent fonts, is available in different dark, bold, thin, etc.
It’s not appropriate to be always forced to use your semi-bold.

    See it differently:
    – you chose Palanquin, what is a very good decision.
    – if your customers could use all the richness of Palanquin with wpbakery, it would be much better for them. otherwise, it’s just a nice but small jail.

    Hello,

Navigate to the Theme Settings > Typography you will find all the styles for fonts which are provided by Google Font.

This won’t give me, within wpbakery, all the richness of the variants created by your friend who did Palanquin.
I regret that you react that way, it’s useless and without any benefit for you or me.
Problem stays, I gave you all info I could, to find a solution.

    Hello,

This is WP Bakery bug that Palanquin has not been included into the list. We shall contact them and write, perhaps they would fix this in their next update.

Thank your for this positive insight.
Hope that they will accept to do it, and I am fully aware that it’s not under your control
