Orders are created double on the page

urielm4Participantdose anyone know how to solve this issue, after the theme update we notice and got lots of complaints that order are created double and once place order is clicked on check out, with paypal or other payment service, it takes lot of time to get a reverted response.
we tried disabling the plugins one by one and also changing the theme to default where it actually was back to normal. but we cannot do that as out store is design on this theme
Please Help.

Please, describe to us your problems in a bit more details. Attach some screenshots and provide us with a list of steps on how to reproduce it on your website. And we need to be able to switch between themes and disable external plugins to check it.

urielm4Participantattache is the screenshot of the order section and what customers were complaining about
what happens is, when some goes to checkout page on place order it keeps on loading for lot of time, no matter what payment method choosen, after putting all the information ofcourse, and then it shows the customer nothing/same page or sometimes just one order, but on the back-end we see the orders twice one in processing and one as paid, or both paid, which should be on the one order. and we are ending up giving refunds and having charge backs due to this and dealing with customer service request for the error orders placed, when we speak to the customer what they did most of them just click on place order on checkout once and saw only one order but got 2 emails of order as in the backend 2 of them where registered.
after this we changed the theme to the child version and tried it worked fine and we also reinstalled the current basel main theme, no help there or disabling the plugins also didn’t help.
just do a normal buying process and once you go to the checkout and click on the place order you will see the loading for a long time and if a order is place check the back end.

urielm4Participantok this we know and you can see the order list, most of the time it has happened for no specific reason, we have no clue why it happens, also did you check the loading time it takes once place order ?

Artem TemosKeymasterWe didn’t notice the loading time problem as well. And it depends on your hosting performance, our theme doesn’t influence this process.
