Is it possible to display the categories links that show above the product list in the page heading on a category page on the home page?

You can show the categories in the shop / category page heading like this https://demo.xtemos.com/basel/shop/
You can set the option in the Theme settings > Shop > Shop page layout > Categories menu in page heading > ON

I already display them like that, but I would like the categories to display the same way under the page heading on my home page as well.

There is no option to show categories in this way on the home page, you can display categories via Product categories element https://demo.xtemos.com/basel/products-categories/
or make the shop page as the home page.
