    Hi,
I’ve been working with my hosting to figure out the reason why my website is so slow and it seems like there is something in the Basel theme that’s causing this.

I’ve run the site through GTmetrix and here what I found, but I’m not sure how to fix it.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Try to edit your Instagram element on the page with WPBakery Page Builder and change images size option to a smaller one.

    Kind Regards

What do you suggest to improve the render blocking js?

I have gone to https://devoteewear.com/ and edited instagram as you suggested, site loads a tiny bit faster. When I click on ‘Womens’ then click on one of the products on the page, it takes around 16 seconds to load a certain product.

I have used optimized images and have optimized them again using Smush. I think the render blocking JS is maybe causing the speed issue.

    Please advice! Thanks

There are a few files that have to be loaded in the head like jquery library and can’t be moved to the footer. But most of our theme JS files are not blocking your page rendering.

Try to disable attribute swatch option to be displayed on the products grid in Theme Settings -> Shop -> Attribute swatches.

I’m not sure if I’m following. This is currently disabled.

Could you please check your product page form Woman category loading time with default WordPress now?

Are you asking to go to my site and click on womens? if yes, it actually loads very fast now, but when I click on a product, it takes several seconds to load. This happens when I click on any product within any category.

    Thank you!

Please note that my hosting company is also working on the site. You might see some plugins disabled and the site might be down for a little while but please check back around 6 AM PST time if that works for you.

    Thanks!

We meant to test that problem page with default WordPress theme and check the difference.

    Hi,
I have cloned my site to a subdomain for you to test.

Please see what’s causing the slowness. It seems to be something in the theme. I have also checked GTmetrix and Google page speed and ranking is not high enough.

    thank you very much,
    Pedram

Have you checked the problem with single product page on default WordPress theme?

    Any updates on this ticket?

I provided the staging site with login info for you to test. This is affecting our business badly. You’d asked me to let you deactivate the plugins and perform some test so I have created a sating site, but then asking me to test a single product. The site is extremely slow and according to GTmetrix and google page speed, the cause is within the theme.

    Hello,

We have tested the site with a default theme provided all the plugins not related to the theme has been deactivated

    These screens with our theme:

    http://prntscr.com/m40al5
    http://prntscr.com/m40ag5

These screens with a default theme

    http://prntscr.com/m40avs
    http://prntscr.com/m40az0

As you can see the loading speed is almost the same.

As soon as all the plugins are activated, the loading speed is increasing: http://prntscr.com/m40bez

Deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and activate them one by one to detect which one causes the issue.

    Best Regards
