Hi Elise, sorry not sure why but I will need to check myself later and can get back to you, however is it the database you need to access as you wont be able to do that through root FTP?

You can access the databases and the root files through cpanel?

Can you explain what you are trying to achieve as I may be able to assist but am more happy for you to do this?
