The thing is that we are using the default search functionality from WordPress so please check how it works on the default WordPress theme just to check whether the issue is from our theme of not.

Also, you can try to use the Relevanssi search, in order to use it, first of all, install this plugin and activate it.

And then activate an appropriate option in Theme Settings -> General -> Search.
