Let’s use our staging site for the troubleshooting.
I have disabled all plugins except for the following:
Classic Editor
Code Snippets
Loco Translate
Woo Composite Products
WooCommerce
Woodmart Core
WP Rocket (cache)
WPBakery Page Builder

Cache has been cleared.
Please see the details and links in the private content.

You can see that while the variation thumbnails are displayed properly on the variable product page, they are not displayed properly on the composite product page. Instead there is a drop-down menu.
