2.0 update the child theme does not work

    just updated to 2.0 the theme works ok but the child theme doesn’t work at all, it just shows the background.
    what should i do?

    Hi,

    By default, our theme doesn’t have any code inside it and it doesn’t depend on our theme updates. If you have any errors inside it, then you have added your custom code there. Just remove it to make it work without errors.

    yes, there was the old header.php in the root folder of child theme, so that’s why it didn’t work

    The problem that still I have, even if I keep woodmart activated not woodmart child, is that sidebars and footers are not showing although they are setup.
    cleared all the cache.

    sorry, i fixed the issue, not related to theme, theme works just fine, and the child theme also.
