2 Single product page widget Q:s

    Hi,

    Regarding Single product page;

    Q1
    It seems as the widget on the right side creates a “void” between the small product description and the full product description (see attached screenshot).

    How can I minimize this “void” without taking things out of the side bar widget?

    Q2:
    If I would like to have a background color on the side bar widget to make it “to stand out” from the page. Where do I design the side bar widget regarding its back ground color?

    Hi,

    I take the opportunity to add an error and more Q:s that I think you might need the login to check out as well.

    Q3
    When I updated the Woodmart theme to the current version something happened to my main menu navigation (see Q3 prin screen). That menu was always present – now it’s activated only by mouse over hover. Where can I find that config to bring it back to as it was before?

    Q4
    On the product page (category page, not for tag pages) I have deleted the sorting function from the filter widget, but it still appears as well as the price filter. Where do I config them to not appear? (see Q4 print screen)

    Q5
    After the upgrade of the Woodmart theme a border is shown on the product grids and I can’t find where to config them. I like it as it is, but I’d like to know where I can change it if I need in the future (see Q5 print screeen).

    Q6 ERROR ON THE HOME PAGE
    Suddenly after the Woodmart theme update a section on my Home page (Hem in Swedish) are suddenly shown. It is not included in my page and not the prefooter that I have disabled.
    I have no idea what this is coming from.

    Q7 WP Bakery
    It says it has a new version but I can’t see how I can download it since I do not have a single license.

    BUT you need to display a couple of product first since “latest viewed” need to be filled before the void appears.

    Your sidebar has the content which enlarges the height. http://prntscr.com/jzmfth Rearrange your content, for example, you can show part of the content in the extra content – you will be able to put this in the bottom http://prntscr.com/jzmhhz

    Q2: If I would like to have a background color on the side bar widget

    This is the CSS for the sidebar: 

    .sidebar-container{
background-color: red;
}

    Replace “red” with the color you need.

    These two types of filtering are added by default and cannot be deleted.

    What grid do you mean? This one http://prntscr.com/jzmpho Enter the tab configuration and try to change the design. However the border will remain.

    Finally…

    Q6 ERROR ON THE HOME PAGE — make sure you have not configured your home page as the shop page as well. Check your WooCommerce settings.

    Q7 WP Bakery

    1. Upload the recent version of the theme from Themeforest account.

    2. Upload the plugin archive from theme/inc/plugins via Plugin > Add new > Upload

    One Q unresolved:
    Q7 – How to update WP Bakery Page Builder. I can’t find the zip-file in the new update (see attached file). What am I doing wrong?

    The rest:

    Q1 – great, then I know what to do!

    Q2 – was a great feature on my site!

    Q3- great, now I know where to config that!

    Q4 – ok, then I know!

    Q5 – Yes, that border was not present before and I do not know where to set it on/off. Since I haven’t made any design changes from before. I like it a bit as it is, maybe nicer with 1 px border, but it’s ok. More that I wanted to know where I can change it if I want to in the future.

    Q6 – Ah, I didn’t know that I couldn’t have them as same. I do not need the actual Shop page but I I changed it back and now everything is ok. I guess the Theme/WooCommerce wants them to be 2 separate pages?

    Navigate to Appearance > Install plugins > find the WP Bakery Page builder > update.

    Q5
    There is no option to change the border, it is possible to do with custom CSS, please remind page URL and provide the screen of the border.

    Q6
    Shop page is compulsory. At the same time, you are not obliged to show in in the menu, you can show your categories pages instead.
