mafadsParticipantHello, I recently switched the theme of my WooCommerce store to WoodMart. After changing the theme, I noticed that the URLs for my brands are no longer working. The brands (attributes) still exist and lead to mywebsite.com/brand/adidas, but when I try to access them, a 404 error appears. I’m not sure why this happened, as it started occurring after activating WoodMart. Thanks

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Try to resave your permalinks in Settings -> Permalinks. If it doesn’t help, send us your admin access so we can check.
Kind Regards

mafadsParticipantHi, I already did that (I thought the same, haha), but it doesn’t work either. I’ll send private access to my WordPress in case you can take a look. Thank you so much!

Artem TemosKeymasterIt might conflict with the core brand permalink https://gyazo.com/c0062be671d83054fcf2a85f7e3453b3
Try to rename it something different and test how it works.January 29, 2025 at 1:56 pm #633791
mafadsParticipantHello! Thank you for your reply. The problem is that we have been working with this website for a long time and we cannot change the URLs of the brands now, as this would lead to a conflict in Google positioning. Can we apply any other solution? Can we disable the WoodMart brand? Thank you!

Artem TemosKeymasterDo you mean that you are using a standard WooCommerce brand and not our theme’s custom attribute? In this case, you need to deselect the brand attribute in Theme Settings -> Shop -> Brands.
Kind Regards

mafadsParticipantYes, but is not working. Can you check it? Thanks.

Artem TemosKeymasterAs we can see, you have our theme’s brands and not core WooCommerce. That is why you need to apply the solution from this reply https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/404-error-on-brand-attribute-urls-after-wwitching-to-woodmart-theme/#post-633734
Change permalinks structure for unused core brands in Settings -> Permalinks.January 30, 2025 at 4:19 pm #634192
mafadsParticipantNo, I have the WooCommerce link structure. It is an attribute called “brand” that I created before activating this theme. I need it to go back to normal because the links used to work before, and now they don’t. I’m not sure if I’m explaining myself correctly. Do you have access to my WordPress dashboard? Can you see it?
I attach a screenshot of my attribute called ‘Marca’ where you can see that it is created (it was working before activating this theme), and I attach a screenshot of the Brand (Marca) from your theme, which is empty.
