A/B Testing with Layouts

Hello,
I’m using Layouts for specific products and i would like to start to a/b test some points on product page.
I’ve tryied with Nelio but unfortunately it doesn’t manage the product shown as layout and the default layout is applied.

What is the best solution to a/b test landings, layouts, prices with Woodmart ?

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme issue or not?

with default theme, there is no layouts to manage as i know.
We tired to use category instead product ID but same result.

Basically, I just want to do A/B test with woodmart, what is the solution you recommend ?

Complex plugins of this type require special support from our theme to work with WoodMart layouts, which are a part of our theme rather than standard WordPress functionality. Currently, our layouts do not have such support, as we have not received similar requests from our clients before. Therefore, this will not work at the moment.

We will consider your request as a feature request, and you can also submit your own request in the dedicated section: https://woodmart.canny.io/feature-requests . If it gains support from the WoodMart community, it will significantly speed up the implementation of this functionality in our theme.

And there is a solution to AB test the product ? that’s crazy than nobody talks AB Testing in woodmart… looks like no one is making monney with or what ? Every big brand ALWAYS push A/B testing (what is obvious). Sadly i really concider to leave woodmart as this main feature for ecom is not possible with this theme.

As previously mentioned, WoodMart Layouts is a unique feature of the WoodMart theme and is not present in standard themes. Most plugins are designed to work with themes similar to default WordPress themes, such as Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four, which do not include additional functionality like WoodMart Layouts.

If a complex plugin modifies or interacts with content built using WoodMart Layouts, it may not work by default unless explicit support for that plugin has been added in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot support multiple plugins simultaneously and must gradually implement compatibility based on a plugin’s popularity and the number of customer requests.

We have taken your request as a feature request for adding support for WoodMart Layouts with A/B testing plugins, and we see that you have already created a feature request in the appropriate section. If we receive more similar requests or your feature request gains community support, it will be prioritized and implemented sooner.
Until then, unfortunately, if you wish to use plugins like Nelio, you will need to switch to the default layout without WoodMart Layouts.
