    Hello,

Website is already completed in Turkish language and loco plugin used to translate certain things on the website. I would like to purchase WPML and be able to make a language and currency switcher. However, would loco plugin create any conflicts in terms of translation? Some of English words has translated to Turkish via Loco.

Our aim is to be able to create English version of the website along with $ currency. When someone from USA or Germany, UK visit the sites they should be able to automatically switch to English instead of website to remain Turkish language which is the default language at the moment.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Yes, using Loco Translate alongside WPML can cause conflicts because both plugins manage string translations and may override each other’s work, especially for theme and plugin texts like your English-to-Turkish translations in Woodmart.

WPML recommends avoiding simultaneous use of both plugins. Export your Loco .po files and import them into WPML via WPML > String Translation > Utilities > Import/export .po, selecting Turkish as the original language. This preserves your existing translations without loss.

    Best Regards
