Access key for maintenance mode

Hi, I have some difficulties with activating this feature “Access key for maintenance mode” inside the maintenance mode.
You are mentioning this example: https://website.com/?suppress_maintenance
But when I adaüt this for my website, it is not working. Is there a bug in this feature?
What do I exactly have to fill in in this field?

You just need to put suppress_maintenance only, without ?.
