    Hi,

I find no way to link an accordion or tab element with an ID. However, if I am using WP Bakery’s elements, I get a “Section ID” where I can provide a custom string and link it to open by default when I access a certain page with a specific URL. How can this be achieved using the WoodMart’s Accordion or Tab element?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

You can achieve this by adding a Unique ID to the section/row that contains the accordion or tabs.

    1. Edit the row/section that contains the Accordion or Tabs.
    2. Set a Unique ID for that row (as shown in your screenshot).
    3. Create a custom menu item in Appearance → Menus.
    4. Use the link with the row ID (e.g. #careers) and enable the “Page anchor” option.

This will correctly scroll the page to the accordion/tab section when the link is clicked.

    Hi Aizaz,

    Thank you for getting back.

I believe, you did not get my question. I understand that when setting a unique ID to the row, it auto scrolls to that specific area.

But my question is not that, as you can see in the link I provided, we have the following sections.

Our Story | Our Sourcing | Team | Career.

Your method scrolls to the section of that part. Not opening a specific tab. For example, I want the tab “Team” to open if I visit https://mywebsite.com/about-us#team given that I have given the ID #team for the “Team” tab and https://mywebsite.com/about-us#career for the ID #career for the “Career” tab.

I find this open for the WP Bakery’s Tab element as section ID, but WoodMart’s Tab element does not have this individual ID inside for each tabs.

    Attached screenshot for your reference.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, WoodMart Tabs/Accordion do not support opening a specific tab via URL anchor. You can only scroll to the section using a row ID. Individual tab IDs are not available.

    Hi Aizaz,

Thank you for letting me know.

I had to use the WP Bakery’s built in Tabs element and faced the problem as mentioned in the topic here https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/an-empty-space-appering-after-wpb-tabs-element/#post-618243

But the problem for me was, since I am anchoring the tabs with specific IDs; the rest of the tabs went hidden if I used the solution you provided in the above shared topic.

Will this feature be available in WoodMart’s Tabs and Accordion for the future releases of the theme ? I should say that the theme is really great and missing this one important feature is bit of a bummer for me.

    Looking forward to your response.
