Add HTML block to Shop page

Hi there,

I’m trying to add an HTML block to my shop page. I see instructions on this forum that seem to work for people using WP Bakery, but I’m not able to edit the Shop page with Elementor.

The attached screenshot shows the error message I see when I try to edit the Shop page with Elementor.

Hello,

Shop page is a functional page and it should not be edited.

HTML block is added to the top filters. Please follow these steps:

1. Enable Top filters in the Theme Settings > Shop > Shop filters https://gyazo.com/3564df2a5d658a0010b6c0ebd0b537d4

2. Enable Shop filters area always opened

3. Shop filters content type should be set Custom content

4. You can choose the HTML block with the content from the Shop filters custom content drop-down.

Thanks for the quick response. The approach that you suggested worked, except it puts the HTML block on *all* shop pages. I already put unique HTML blocks on each of my category pages and I just need a block that will show up only on the main shop page.

Is there a way to put a specific HTML block that will only appear on the root shop page?

Unfortunately, there is no option. All the content add to the top filters would be visible on all the categories.
