rgbadminParticipantHello, we are interested in how this support topic was resolved: https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/is-it-possible-add-sidebar-on-the-blog-archive-page/
We are looking to add a sidebar to the blog archive page (ie. overall blog page and category archives).
We already have a sidebar on the single post page, but need a sidebar on the archive pages as well.April 2, 2025 at 8:41 am #651004
Hung PhamParticipantHi rgbadmin,
Thanks for reaching to us.
Please go to Theme Settings > Blog > Blog and you can select layout for blog archive.

rgbadminParticipantYes, that setting is set to have a right sidebar. However, this setting is only being applied to the single post page, not the archive pages.

Hung PhamParticipantHi rgbadmin,
Please edit page > scroll down to Page Settings > Sidebar tab and you can set the custom sidebar for this blog page to the Main Widget Area and now the sidebar shows on the archive, cats and post with the masonry design.

rgbadminParticipantHello. We now see the sidebar on the archive pages, however, it appears our child theme was replaced with the parent theme in Appearance > Themes.
Is there any reason why this would be?
Is there any issue you can foresee with switching the theme back to the child theme?
Our child theme style.css needs to be functioning for the website styling.April 18, 2025 at 9:51 am #655122
Hung PhamParticipantHi rgbadmin,
You can switch to Child theme, please let me know if you need further helps.
Regards,
