sn.jiriParticipantHello Woodmart Support,
I’m experiencing an issue with the “Add to Cart” button on my product page when using the Fancy Product Designer plugin.
Here’s what’s happening:
– When a customer customizes a product using Fancy Product Designer and clicks “Add to Cart”, the design does not get saved or attached to the cart item.
– Because of this, in the WooCommerce order, the customization data is missing, and the “Load in Order Viewer” button is not displayed.
– I believe the problem is that the theme’s built-in “Add to Cart” button may not be fully compatible with Fancy Product Designer. Perhaps the default Woodmart button overrides or conflicts with the plugin.
– I tried switching to the Astra theme temporarily, and everything worked perfectly — designs were saved, and the order viewer button appeared.
– I’ve already tested disabling AJAX, checked theme settings, and ensured the plugin setup is correct.
– Is there a way to allow Fancy Product Designer to take control over the Add to Cart button on Woodmart, or can you recommend a workaround to make it fully compatible? Thanks a lot in advance

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme issue or not?
Kind Regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterThe thing is that all purchasing functionality is related to WooCommerce so it’s better to check it in the Storefront theme.
In any case, confirm the permission for plugins deactivation and switching to the parent/default theme for testing. Also, send access to the admin panel so I can investigate that issue.
Kind Regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterThis issue occurred because you were using Woodmart layouts without hook elements. We have configured these hooks in your template, and it should now be working — could you please check it?
Kind Regards

sn.jiriParticipantThanks for your help and for setting up the hooks.
Unfortunately, the issue still persists. The product is added to the cart when I click it, but the customized options and the preview from Fancy Product Designer are still not being saved or attached to the order. The “Load in Order Viewer” button still does not work either.

Luke NielsenKeymasterIn this case, could you please check how it works without Layouts? https://take.ms/yL6j7
I await your response.

sn.jiriParticipantI have tested the site without using the Layouts, and unfortunately the issue still persists — the design from Fancy Product Designer is still not saved to the order.
