Adding image in CURRENT menu

I am slowly building out our menu, as we add more products.. but for now there is a large gap… I want to add an image to fill this gap… but without ruining the current menu.
I know how to use HTML blocks, but my currenrt menu is not an HTML block..
Can you let me know of there is a way to add an image to the menu as it is now??
The menu is called ‘SHOP’

If your current ‘SHOP’ menu is not using an HTML block, but you’d like to add an image, you can do one of the following:
Go to Appearance > Menus > Open the ‘SHOP’ menu item > Choose the HTML Blocks option and In the Mega menu, create the layout 2 or 4 columns.
If you have another behaviour, could you please elaborate on your concern more with some useful screenshots so that we can better understand and assist you accordingly with what you actually want? Also, share the wp login details of your site so I can further check on your site and give you a possible solution.

I will look at the method you suggest but not sure it is the right way..

You are using the aside menu style and using the HTML Block under the shop menu. Try to disable the aside menu design under the shop menu and use the default design for the sub menu items.

If you want to use the aside menu design, then you can use the Mega menu for sub menu items and choose the drop-down settings.

OK now you lost me..
I know menus are under Appearance > Menus but I can’t find these options??

Please try to expand the shop menu item and choose the drop-down settings to default instead of aside to avoid this extra space.
