additional page is not working

hi,
i would like to known the reason i cannot import some specific page from additional page option. does it causing by i did not import base data from the start? and do i really need to since i create most of the page from the scratch and iam afraid it will change my current setting to a base version and will it override or delete some of the page that i already create?
