ghcestParticipantHello,
How can I change the size of each of the FEATURED CATEGORIES?
I would like to adjust this section freely as I think is too big each of these categories on my website (I have 9 featured categories in total). Is there a way to have a custom CSS code to adjust that? Hope you can help me 🙂
Photo for description (my website)
At WOODMART template only shows 5 featured categories and they are big.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I saw the screenshot you attached.
Sorry but this is not possible with custom CSS as the categories are using the same classes. If we try to use CSS then all the categories will be affected.
Basically, the product and the categories images are controlled by WooCommerce and our theme doesn’t influence. WooCommerce provides settings for the product images that you can find under
Appearance >> Customize >> WooCommerce >> Product Images.

ghcestParticipantHello Aizaz,
Thank you for your clarification but still do not understand that. In the Woodmart template the size of the “FURNITURE” featured categories is a lot bigger than the others listed. (https://woodmart.xtemos.com/). So how could you apply the size of the “FURNITURE” category bigger and different from the others? (image attached)
I tried changing according to what you told me but nothing worked.
Thanks!Attachments:

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I saw the screenshot you attached.
Our demo version the layout is set to masonry for the product categories element that’s why the categories are displayed like this.
You can try enabling the masonry layout for the categories by editing the categories element.

ghcestParticipantHi Aizaz,
Ok, so how can I find the step by step of doing that?
ThanksOctober 1, 2020 at 6:37 am #230076
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Sorry, but there is no step by step guide available for the section. You need to set the layout to masonry and set the cropping settings and image width according to your needs.
If you are still unable then provide admin panel login details to check it myself and help you out accordingly.
Regard’s.

ghcestParticipantWhere do I find this area in the template?

You wrote it above but I don´t find it.

ghcestParticipantDear,
I am having a tough situation in where to find this area. I am not satisfied with my Featured Categories layout and I don´t find a way to change it because kindly I am not too involved with the knowledge of wordpress.
So let´s try again until it gets done. If you help me out with that I will be really satisfied. Above you told “layout is set to for the product categories”. Where do I find this masonry thing? I lack of knowledge about it and really need a help.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I saw the screenshot you attached.
You need to edit the product categories element that you used to display the categories on the homepage by editing the homepage. Then you can find the options for the layout for the element.

If you are still unable to set it then provide with admin panel login details of the website to check it myself and help you out accordingly.
Best Regards.
