After adding a category description, the side menu stops working

Error: side menu has ceased to be interactive.
When I remove the [html-block] menu works fine

I prepared a screen record where you can see that the links in the side menu are inactive. When I remove [html-block] from the description of the category then the links become active again

You need to disable “Stretch row” option for the content inside the HTML block using WPBakery page builder. That should fix the problem.
