AJAX Products tabs: NEW lable selector not working

The Data Source “Products with NEW label” does not work on m site.
Neither the products with a permanent NEW label, nor the ones with a temporary one are shown.

Instead, there is one product shown, without any NEW label, no cat or tag NEW either…

Then either it is unclear, how to set a NEW label to a product (As this product does not have a NEW label. see screenshot.)

Whereas other products, that do have the NEW lable (as far as i understood this label) do not appear in the list.
e.g.: https://dev.goldschmiede-recke.de/produkt/anhaenger-raute-rot-und-weissgold-mit-brillanten/ or https://dev.goldschmiede-recke.de/produkt/medaillon-victor-mayer-gold-mit-brillanten/ (Which have a temporary NEW label until 2021-08-31, see Screenshot_38.png)

https://dev.goldschmiede-recke.de/produkt/ring-blau-emailliert-weissgold-mit-brillanten/ (Which has a permanent NEW label see Screenshot_39.png)

So, if i got it wrong, please tell me, how to set this NEW label to a product. (And how can i search/sort my product list in the woo backend to find the NEW labeled products?)

Please deactivate all the third party plugins, activate the parent theme then clear cache and check back.

If the problem continues then leave all the third party plugins deactivated and provide with the admin panel login details of the website.

Have a look yourself. If you need anything else to be deactivated: feel free to do it.

The child theme was unchanged, but i activated the main theme. -> no change.
Plugins already are reduced to a minimum (Log viewer and WooCommerce might be helpful with a WooCommerce related bug 😉

I have logged into your website and created a new product and marked it as New for a time and it is appearing in the Neue tab.

Which clears that the issue is not from our theme. It seems that you have imported the products that are causing the issues.

Please try recreating the products and mark them as new then check back.

I have not the time to recreate every single product.
The products where imported by default wordpress importer. Then i set the NEW flag.

If you are some kind of suupport: please do that. Be supportive. Right now, this is no help to me at all.

As we can see, you have all New labels set manually that is why this “global” option should be disabled. It affects the Elementor products widget.
You need to either use the global option for this or set this option for each product individually.

Ah! Now this is helpful!

So this global setting does not work additional to the manual settings. It overrules it.

Wouldn’t it be a great idea, to change that behavior, so that the global setting is the default, and the manual settings overrule the global default settings?

Probably much more useful and more what people would expect 😉

Yes, we will think about it. But technically it is more difficult than by words 🙂 And we have to implement these changes very accurately to avoid breaking anything on current customers’ websites since this feature is used a lot.
