AJAX search only show products from current category page

Hi,
I’m using the AJAX product search feature in the header. I want the search results to only show products from the category or subcategory page I’m currently viewing.
For example, if I’m on a subcategory page and use the search bar, I’d like to see only products from that subcategory — not from other categories.
Is there a way to set this up?

Unfortunately, the AJAX product search cannot automatically limit results to the category or subcategory of the page you’re currently viewing.
However, you can achieve a similar effect by editing your header via WoodMart > Header Builder > [Select your current header], then editing the Search element and enabling the option “Show product categories dropdown.”
This will allow visitors to manually select a specific category to search within.

Just to double-check — is there any workaround, custom snippet, or third-party solution that could make it behave like that?
I’d really love to keep users searching only within the current category without using the dropdown manually.

Sorry, but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that.
It requires customization, and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
