Allow back-orders does not update swatches

Hello,

I am trying to remove backorder status from products ( Allow backorders -> Do not allow), but when doing so via a PHP function or smart manager, the swatches do not update and show the previous status (Allow Backorders).

When updating the product via the Woocommerce page the changes take effect. Seems like some sort of cache is being kept or an action takes place, how to update it?

The use of the functions.php file and Smart Manager is considered custom development and out of theme support policy. I recommend making these changes directly from the WooCommerce product edit page.

You can check this PHP function or smart manager working with default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
