Animated GIF as main product image of the product

Hallo,
Today I tried to put animated gif as main image of the product.
I hoped that at categoy page animated gif will move, but no. It appear as standard still jpg.

Is it possible to put gif and appear with moving?

(Please replace with your own image, I tested directly with existing product to let you see it worked properly).

You should upload GIF images directly to Media and check again.

Yes, it’s working as main image at single product.
The problem is that gi is not moving at category page.
