minubalticParticipantHi Support Team,
I am experiencing an issue with the “Brands” grid element on my translated pages (specifically German) while using the Antares/WoodMart theme alongside WPML.
On the English (default) homepage, the brands (BRAND1, BRAND2, BRAND3) display perfectly with their layouts. However, on the German homepage, the entire brand grid section appears completely empty (only the main title and button are visible).
Here is what I have already checked and verified:
Taxonomy Settings: The product_brand taxonomy is set to “Translatable – only show translated items” in WPML settings.
Term Translations: The brands are properly translated into German, and the corresponding HTML blocks are assigned.
HTML Blocks: I have translated the specific HTML blocks (e.g., ID 2453) into German and manually updated the shortcodes in the Term Translation Description fields with the correct German HTML block IDs (e.g., [xts_html_block id=”NEW_DE_ID”]).
Term Meta: The order_pa_brand meta is set to “Copy” in custom term meta translation settings.
Caching: All object caches, WP Rocket cache, and theme transients have been cleared multiple times.
Despite the shortcode IDs and translation mappings being 100% correct, the frontend remains completely blank on translated pages. It seems like the theme’s brand grid element fails to fetch or parse the translated HTML block shortcodes from the taxonomy description on multilingual views.
Could you please assist me in resolving this compatibility or database sync issue?
Thank you in advance!

minubalticParticipantHello,
I added this to the message.June 9, 2026 at 5:27 pm #721074Hello,
Thanks for the details and for providing access. We checked your site and the Brands element is translated and rendered correctly. On the German homepage it looks empty because the Background is not set for the German brand terms, while it is set for the English ones. Please edit each German brand term and assign the Background image (same as in English), then save. Screenshots for reference:
– Element renders: https://monosnap.ai/file/wsuKJM9hLqb5g6IBPHdtIfle4U0VlP
– Background not set in DE (set in EN): https://monosnap.ai/file/SIG00eavIhRHvx58nyPFiXjmW3w0RCAlso, the HTML block shortcode you placed in the term Description is translated correctly. Note that this Description is displayed only on the brand archive page, not inside the Brand Grid element on regular pages:
– Archive display example: https://monosnap.ai/file/c1V5PFNkPLykN6aDivsGYf0n9K6AsmPlease set the backgrounds for the German brands and check the grid again. If anything still looks off, let us know which specific brand term we should recheck.
Kind regards,
