Hi. I already have a ticket open but if this can be solved as well that would be great.
We have the “Show single variation” and “Hide variations parent” chosen in theme settings.
When entering a product variation, the color does not get auto chosen and the customer has to double choose (even though he “chose” the variation outside of the product page).
I have attached a product for example and login details.

    Hello,

Could you please record a short video and describe how we can reproduce the issue on your website so we can check this for you?

    Thanks for your patience.

    Hello Aizaz, video attached

    Hello,

Sorry, this is not possible to achieve through the theme settings. The variation is not auto-selected on the single product page, even when a specific variation was clicked from the shop page.

Alternatively, you can use the “Default Form Values” option in the product edit screen. However, please note that it will always pre-select the same variation every time the product page loads, regardless of what was selected on the shop page.

    Thank you Aizaz.
I respect your answer. But I do think that I did not explain correctly.
When pressing the product colour from shop page, the attribute does get selected in the URL. Just not shown correctly on the product page after redirection.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the clarification.

I’ve tested this behavior on our test site, and when clicking a single variation product with a URL like this:
    https://example/shop/laptops/apple-macbook/apple-macbook-pro-13-m2/?attribute_pa_color=space-gray

It correctly redirects to the variation page, and the selected attribute is applied automatically. To ensure everything works properly on your site as well, please follow these steps:
Update all your products – especially those with variations – to make sure the variation data is properly saved.
Deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know so I can check and give you a possible solution. Also, switch the child theme to the parent theme and check the issue after completely clearing the browser cache and server cache.

    In private content.
Just choose attribute products “outside” of product page. You will still be redirected to a cleared option, even though it shows that attribute is selected.

    Hello,

Here is a video from my end – https://dropmefiles.com.ua/en/LxRZX3K9e and it seems to work well. Your previous videos are not available now, so if I misunderstood you, please resend the video you sent before.

Also, what password for the link you provided – https://prnt.sc/zjX6FTkVZyCc

As you can see in your video – once you press the white variation, the white variation is selected in theory (it is selected but not functional 100%).
but in practice, the problems are:
    1. The product photo shows the black variation unless you clear and reselect white.
    2. If you press add to cart or buy now, the site asks you to select a variation first, even though it is already selected

    Hello,

Choosing a variable form is a default functionality, and to make it work correctly, the slug attribute must be in Latin characters. So please update the slugs and recheck the issue.

    Kind Regards
