Banner Cookie Default or Plugin?
-
I would like to know if I need to install a new plugin, and if so, which one do you recommend for managing cookies? Otherwise, is it enough to just activate the banner via Woodmart, or is that okay too?
Hello,
Woodmart theme includes a built-in cookie banner option, so you don’t need to install a new plugin for basic management. Activating it via the theme settings is sufficient for simple GDPR compliance on your WooCommerce site.
Go to Woodmart > Theme Settings > General > Cookies (or “Cookie Law Info”). Enable “Show Cookies Law Information.
Best Regards.
Hello, ok, thank you very much. This is good for cookie policies and privacy policies, which are created directly as pages on the site. What about terms and conditions? Is there a possibility to activate it and create the page directly with woodmart template? Or not?
Best regards
Hello,
The Terms and Conditions page is not created automatically by the theme. Legal pages such as Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy are usually created manually as regular pages in WordPress.
You can simply go to Pages → Add New, create your Terms and Conditions page, and then assign it in WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Terms and conditions page if you want it to appear during checkout.
Best Regards,
Okok Thanks you very much.
