Big issue with jquery UI library on Giftcards Plugins

We need help with an issue we encountered while trying to work with plugins that add gift card functionality to the website. We have tested different plugins that add the jQuery UI library for the date field (delivery date of the gift card to the customer), but they simply don’t work with Woodmart.

I have changed the theme to verify that it wasn’t a plugin problem, and it works with other themes with no problem at all. We need a solution as this is a key functional feature for our customer.

The malfunction with Woodmart causes the user to be scrolled back to the top of the website when selecting a date, as if it were a button with an undefined anchor link. We have tried two plugins that use a similar system, and the same issue occurs with both of them. We kindly request assistance from Woodmart as it seems to be a problem with the theme rather than the plugins. Thanks

I apologize for the delay.

I see that you use Layouts for the product page. We have a special widget called “Woocommerce Hook” in Elementor that you can place to your custom layout and then the plugin will be able to add its custom content/functionality there. But I don’t know which one exactly it needs. You can either try to select all hooks one by one or contact plugin developers for help.

The hook seems to work, but after refreshing the page, it doesn’t. This isn’t a problem with the plugin, it’s with the theme. If you try switching to any other basic theme besides Woodmart by Xtemos, it works without any issue. Why should I report this problem to the plugin developer when it’s evident that it’s a theme issue?

The current plugin should work well as it is on the default theme. When the Layout is disabled, it works well. I do not see that you have defined all hooks https://prnt.sc/0bXzCEQn_f6K, maybe the plugin connects scripts on some hook that is not there, so you need to show all hooks from the link above. Either you can disable the Layouts for the product page and it will work as you want.

That was because I was testing it and included everyone in layouts, and it still doesn’t work. Please try disabling layouts, and you’ll see what I mean.

You’ll see that won’t work properly. I just deactivated the layout for you. Also the featured image is completely broken.

With the deactivated layout, the plugin works well – https://gyazo.com/8979c31813fd93c5648c4cd5e9d225ee. In the layouts, you need to set for each hook one Hook element, e.g. the product page has around 20 hook thus you need to define 20 elements of WooCommerce Hook for testing.

As for the image, may I check how it works without 3rd party plugins or on the default theme?

Now my question is, how can it be that a plugin from YITH does not work, when these plugins are frequently used on all ecommerce websites?

I have always believed that WoodMart was the best option for setting up an ecommerce site, but from now on, I will start to be cautious.

For your information, this was resolved by modifying the CSS code alone. Therefore, I think there is a lack of responsiveness from XTemos support. How can you claim it’s incompatible just because of the gallery layout?
