Blog categories

Hello,
Hope you are well. When i deselect a category in a blog post they still show in the side bar. Anyway to remove these?

The categories can be removed via Appearance -> Widgets -> remove the categories widget from the main widget area. Then check back your site after completely clearing the browser cache.
