I actually set the post image to be used as the header image. See screenshot 1.

However, only a black header is displayed in the posts, Screenshot 2.
I include featured images in every blog post.

What could be the reason for this?

    Hello,

Please try to update the new version of the theme “WOODMART WordPress NEW: 8.3.4 RELEASED”, update the required plugin, and check the issue: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/

Thank you very much. The header image is now visible.

But now I have a black frame at the bottom and on the right. That wasn’t there before.

Hm. The thing is, now I only see the black border when I’m logged in as an administrator. How can that be?

When I log out or visit the blog post on another device, I don’t see the black bars. As soon as I log in, I see the black borders again.

Hmm, okay. It seems to have been a caching problem.

Even though I cleared everything in the WordPress backend (cache, used CSS) and in my browser.

    Hello,

It seems the issue was related to caching. Sometimes, clearing the cache from the WordPress backend and browser, some cached files may still remain on the server or CDN level.

Please monitor it for a while, and if the issue reappears, try clearing the hosting or CDN cache as well.

    Best Regards,
