Something is preventing content from being displayed on the blog page. See screenshots.

This should be visible in the marked area. When I edit the page and click on Preview, the preview shows me the homepage. What could be going on there?

    Hello,

This is a blog page. The blog page is the functional page and it is not editable. You need to create a custom page, insert a block you wish, and then insert a blog widget to get the template you wish.

And that’s exactly what I did with this Page.
If you look at the first screenshot, you will see that I have inserted a blog widget there.

    Hello,

Navigate to Settings > Reading > remove this page from the post page and check the issue.

If I do this, another problem arises:

The middle navigation button (Back to list) then no longer works. This was discussed here: https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/blog-back-to-list-button-doesnt-work/

Do I have to live with one problem or the other? Or is there a solution?

    Hello,

Yes in the custom page the blog functionality will not work, but the blog page doesn’t allow any modifications added to it, this is the default functionality. You cannot edit it with Elementor as well. Please navigate to Theme Settings -> Blog -> Blog archive and check the settings.

    Best Regards

Is that supposed to be a solution?

And how was it managed in the demo page from Woodmart that the blog page is customized and the “Back to List” button works?

    Hello,

In the demo, the blog page is typically customized using Theme Settings > Blog > Blog Archive for layout and appearance. The “Back to List” button works because it relies on the default blog page functionality.

    Best Regards
