Blog permalink issue

Hi

I’m trying to setup a blog on the website and keep the permalink/url structure clean, e.g. https://www.zeluslondon.com/blog/’category’/postname

However once clicking on the post in the blog page, the ‘blog’ tag disappears. Please see here: https://www.zeluslondon.com/blog

Also a similar permalink issue with product – currently I have one parent category and one sub category, for instance: ‘mens’,’tshirts’. However the product URL doesn’t recognise the sub category hence the final URL has it missing:

https://www.zeluslondon.com/store/mens/classic/

Could you help on this?

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress theme like twentysixteen to understand is it our theme issue or not? Our theme doesn’t influence permalinks structure.

Please navigate to Settings > Permalink

1. You can add the category and post name choosing custom permalink http://prntscr.com/k6wdpq

2. You will also find the available options for product URL settings: http://prntscr.com/k6wdpq

You can use the custom field in both cases to configure URL as per your needs.

i did apply these from the beginning (see attached) but it wasn’t working for some reason?

The reason is not caused by out theme, please check on the default to get convinced. Please check the documentation https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks
