    Hi there

I do have two questions about the blog setup in Woodmart.

    1) Blog entry sidebar
I would like to define the same sidebar on both – my blog “overview” page showing all entries located here (www.mysite.com/blog/) and the same sidebar on each blog post detail page. So I’ve created a sidebar called “Magazine Sidebar”. On the blog site, I’ve assigned this sidebar in the footer settings of Woodmart. When I now access http://www.mysite.com/blog/ I can see the sidebar. When I then go to detail blog entries the sidebar doesn’t show up anymore. Can you help me to understand where to set the same sidebar to be displayed on each blog post as well (globally)?

    2) Blog URL Structure
I would like to apply the following URL structure in my blog (www.mysite.com/blog/) and on a blog entry http://www.mysite.com/blog/entry1/. So I went to the permalinks settings in WordPress. Currently I have the setting “Postname” http://www.mysite.com/exampleentry/. When I want to switch i.e. to “individual structure” and hit save, the new setting is not applied. It jumps back to the “Postname”-Setting. I’m hosting my page on Kinsta (NGINX), not sure if they don’t allow the “individual structure” in Permalinks. I wanted to ask here first if I might do something wrong 🙂

    Many thanks

    Hello,

You will have to set the sidebar in each post: https://prnt.sc/zisifp

You will find this option in the post-editing mode.

The same sidebar should be set in the Blog page settings: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/options-for-pages/

You can configure the URL in the Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
