    Hi
I want that the user will see the a red X on the out of stock variation without checking this option “Hide out of stock items from the catalog”
becuase i want user to register to waiting list when the prodcut will be back to stock, i am using with “Back In Stock Notifier for WooCommerce”
and no – i dont want to enable pre-ordering.
i gust want to enable the “disabled variation” effect without hiding all other out of stock prodcut.
    how can it be done?
    mybe some php code?

    Hi lenshtam,

    Thanks for reaching to us.

Navigate to Products > Attributes > edit Attribute > Choose the Disabled swatch.

The disabled Swatch style is for the variants of the Products which are disabled not for the Out of Stock variants.

So, you need to have the variant of the Product not checked with the Enable option on it and then the Disabled Swatch style will work accordingly. See these images for reference:

    Thanks for your reasoning.
Let me redefine my question / my need :
I want that when some product variation is out of stock then he will get the design of the disabled Swatch

    Hi lenshtam,

Sorry but there is no way to do that by default.
