Body background color remains white

I have set every color in theme settings > styles and colors > pages background, but still the var(–wd-main-bgcolor) is set to white.

Is it even possible to change var(–wd-main-bgcolor) via theme settings?

I can see that all settings are working – for example for the elements “.page .wd-page-content” and “footer”. The all have my defined color. But elements like “body” and “.wd-page-wrapper” have “var(–wd-main-bgcolor)” which is white.

Did you try to clear the site/server cache?

Also, please send access to the admin panel so I can investigate that issue.
