Danny96ParticipantHi,
I have created some HTML blocks which include sliders for brand pages. As the slider is full width, it appears over the top of the sidebar content, which hides the product categories. If possible I would just like to hide the sidebar on brand pages.
How can I reference a brand page id in css to be able to hide the sidebar for just the brand pages as I still wish to show the sidebar on the shop page, category pages etc..
Alternatively, is there a way I can disable the sidebar for just brand pages?

Danny96ParticipantHi,
details below.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The brand page inherits the settings of the shop page. So if you do not want the slider, you need to disable it on the shop page. If you disable the sidebar on the shop page, it would disappear in categories, attribute pages as well.
Now the sidebar is overlayed with the slider. You need to disable the full-width row in the HTML block. And you should off-set the column for the sidebar. You can how to do that here https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/responsive-column-control-width-offset-param-usage-explained/?v=9025a1ae8c64 and here https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/control-elements-different-devices-responsive-column-controls/?v=9025a1ae8c64

Danny96ParticipantHi,
So is there no way to just disable it on the brand pages only?
In the url for one of my brands for example is this:
taxonomy=pa_brand&tag_ID=1771
can I use this id to disable the sidebar in css?
Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Unfortunately, the brand page does not have a unique selector which would allow me to assign the style only to this page. That is why I cannot hide the sidebar only on this page.

Danny96ParticipantHi,
Is there any way to get the sidebar (categories menu) to start below the description of a brand? So it is inline with the heading and products below? (will attach a screenshot to show you what i mean)
Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You have customized the Brand page, you have inserted the slider in the wrong way, have a look at the screen: https://prnt.sc/r91oz0 I have deactivated slider, I have removed HTML block and still I see the slider shortcode, above you see the text which I have inserted into the description for testing https://prnt.sc/r91pdw
If it does not help, deactivate all the plugins and check, when you add the content into the Description field of the brand page it is displayed properly. However, due to your customization or plugins conflict, the slider overlays the sidebar.
Best Regards
