    I checked the latest updates for WooCommerce and found that in version 9.6, released on January 20, 2025, a new feature for managing product brands was introduced.

    This means that the “Add New Brand” option is now a core feature of WooCommerce starting from version 9.6.

    Do we need to take any action because I guess most of us use “brands” in attributes

    Hello,

    You can use either WooCommerce’s core brands or our theme’s custom attribute. Use those you like more.
