    Dear Team,

For the mega menu of my website, I need to have a “Brands” section. In this section of the menu I want to have all brands shown in a grid. I achieved that by creating a new HTML block, a menu category I named “Брандове” (Brands in Bulgarian) and using that HTML block for the brands menu (check the attached screenshot). The grid looks okay, but when I click on any of the brand logos, the logo image loads. How can I control the URL behind each logo? What I actually need is clicking on a certain logo to load the shop page filtered so that I see only products of the corresponding brands.

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards

Thank you very much for your assistance! One more question on that topic – currently I can add a maximum of 24 brand logos to that brands grid. In the settings menu I chose to show 60 brands but I still get a total of 4 rows of 6 logos in each row. Is there anything I could do to include more brands in it?

Additionally, as you can see in the screenshot I attached to my previous post, the grid looks a bit messy (logos are not in nicely organized rows and columns. Do I need to unify all the brands logos image sizes in order to get a well organized grid?

    Hi Aizaz,

I didn’t miss the screenshots, they are attached to my initial post. Anyway, I’m sending them again attached to this one.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

It looks like the limit isn’t caused by the “number of brands” setting but by the widget options. In the Brands widget, the “Hide empty” option is currently enabled, so only brands that have products assigned are shown. Please disable “Hide empty brands”, then clear cache — the rest of your brands should appear.

    Hi Aizaz,

Thank you for the clarification. Unfortunately, I now have three problems:
    1. The original problem I reported is still present, i.e. when I click on any of the brand logos, the logo image loads. And just like before, what I actually need is clicking on a certain logo to load the shop page filtered so that I see only products of the corresponding brands.
    2. Even though I chose to show all brands in the brands grid, the mega menu does not allow scrolling down, so I cannot view all the brands.
    3. Just like before, the grid looks a bit messy (logos are not in nicely organized rows and columns. Do I need to unify all the brands logos image sizes in order to get a well organized grid?

    Best regards,
    Angel

    Hello,

    01. Please resave permalinks via Settings > Permalinks and double-check the issue after completely clearing the cache.

    02. I have enabled scrolling on your site in the mega menu, and all the brands are showing on your site. Check back your site and check the issue.

    03. Yes, to make the grid look clean and aligned, the brand logo images should have uniform dimensions and similar aspect ratios. When logos have different sizes or proportions, the grid becomes uneven.

Please upload the logos to the same size and the grid will display in neat rows and columns.

    Hi Aizaz,

Thanks a lot for the clarification. If I understand correctly, resaving the permalinks is what fixes the issue with the logos linking to just the logo image and not opening the store with only products of the corresponding brand displayed. I will use that solution if I have the same problem in the future.

The other issues are also fixed, so thank. you for your time!

You can close that ticket as well.

    Best regards,
    Angel

    Hello,

    You’re Most Welcome!

Resaving the permalinks forces WordPress to regenerate the brand URLs, which usually fixes the issue where brand logos open only the image instead of the filtered shop page.

If the problem appears again in the future, just resave the permalinks and clear any cache, and it should work normally.
