Brands Section

Under the Woocommerce Products section, there is a “brands” field that comes with woodmart, but woodmart shows brands as if they are an attribute under the attributes heading, brands and sub-brands can be added to the “brands” section, but this field is unavailable on the product add page, the brands section under “attributes” can be added to the product, if the ‘brands’ section could be used, it would really make a difference as we could also add sub-brands and all the functionality of the existing equivalent “brands” plugins would be brought to our theme.

Hello,

You can use either WooCommerce’s core brands or our theme’s custom attribute. If you want to take brand information from the WooCommerce’s taxonomy, you need to deselect custom brand attribute in Theme Settings.

In the theme builder, I selected brand attiribute in the brand section, but nothing changed. The “Brands” field was not seen in the product adding area.

I think I have solved the source of the problem. How can I disable Woodmart’s brands option?

You just need to leave this field empty in Theme Settings and then you will be using WooCommerce brands.
