Browse categories: live menu content

Hi,
I am aware that for the Browse Categories menu, HTML blocks can be created to make a menu with custom content. However, is there a way that the menus in these HTML blocks are synchronized with the live menu (as in the ‘normal’ horizontal menu in WordPress)? I like the design of the HTML block menu’s, but it’s a lot of work keeping this menu synchronized manually.
