Build theme on a development site, and move it to live site after

Hello.

We have a client who would like to move to your theme.

He have a live WooCommerce site, and usually it gives alot of problems if you try to merge two WooCommerce sites (dev to live)

Do you have any suggestions for us, how to handle this the best way?

If we build the new Woodmart theme on a dev site, and want to move it to the live site after, how do we do it so that we dont break the live site?

Hello,

We suggest you have two separate domains (two separate WordPress installations) for the live and testing domain. As per your policy, you can use the theme on both, if it is one and the same site.

Thus your live site would work and you can test and check everything on your testing domain, not damaging your live site.

Yes we already have two instances, but how do we transfer your theme from the development instance to the liveinstance? Do you have a good way to do this?

Our theme does not have this option, you would better contact your host support on this issue or find the migration plugins.
