[email protected]ParticipantWhen buying Woodmart theme I understood WP Bakery to be included. I have installed WPBakery (from theme link) and activated it but it doesn’t seem to be activated properly.
I saw the answer to someone else that seems to confirm that I don’t need to pay to use WPBakery – {“WPBakery Page Builder and Revolution slider come bundled with our theme but they can’t be activated with our purchase code. Actually, you don’t need to do this.”}
On the WPBAkery plugin setting page it says, “In order to receive all benefits of WPBakery Page Builder, you need to activate your copy of the plugin. By activating WPBakery Page Builder license you will unlock premium options – direct plugin updates, access to template library and official support.”
So the included free version doesn’t have access to the Bakery template library I saw in demo here – https://woodmart.xtemos.com/wpbakery-elements-library/ ?Tried to edit page on front end by clicking EDIT WITH WPBAKERY PAGE BUILDER. Then clicked ADD TEMPLATE. Under WOODMART TEMPLATES LIBRARY it seems to be searching forever without showing any templates. Under TEMPLATE LIBRARY tab it says I have to activate WPBakery license to use those.
So I have access to no templates unless I buy WPBakery??Initially I started to work with Elementor plugin. When that was activated, in the HTML Blocks page, to edit those I would click on an “Edit with Elementor” button and I could add various elements. Now with Elementor deactivated and WPBakery activated there’s no WPBakery editing, it’s just basic wordpress.
In this video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWUe8wPLG2g&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=5 on how to create mega menu with WPBakery with HMTL blocks, it shows options of Front or Back end editing, and selecting Back end brings up buttons to add template or elements. I don’t have these buttons so no WPBakery editing in HMTL blocks.February 24, 2021 at 10:43 am #268905
Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.
The included version of the WPBakery page builder has full access to our theme’s templates library that you saw here https://woodmart.xtemos.com/wpbakery-elements-library/
We also provide direct auto-updates for this plugin via Appearance -> Install plugins without activation.
If the templates library doesn’t work for you, please, provide us your admin access so we can check what is wrong with that.
Kind Regards

[email protected]ParticipantAfter my initial post I was able to access the template library to edit pages, so that’s good and I thought it was all magically fixed but I still have an issue with HTML blocks to create a megu menu (or anything else you do with this thing). It still has no access to WPBakery editing.

Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
It seems that your settings for the Wp-Bakery Page Builder are disturbed.
Go to >> Dashboard >> Wp-Bakery Page Builder >> Role Manager and enable it from post types as in the screenshot.
For Clarification see screenshot: https://ibb.co/h7FzNdN
