Can I add a clickable call-me?

While setting up the theme, I thought it would be nice to add a clickable phone number to the header, as is done in this demo:

Is there such a possibility without third-party plugins? And if it is possible, how can it be done? I suppose it can be done via HTML block insertion, but I’m not sure.

If I paste this code via text / html or html blocks function then on the front it is output as plain text

Can this code be inlined via the header editor, or should it be inlined via the child theme edit?

If you add to the header, switch to the text mode as shown: https://gyazo.com/5911e80be833bc4e51cb4408b405557b and insert the code, if you add to the footer, there is a text bloc, and HTML block allowing to insert tags.
