Can I add the category menu and side bar to a page

Sorry I closed this ticket thinking I solved it but I didn’t. I have brand pages.
Here is an example

Can I add side bar and catergories like my product catergories show
Is there a solution? Right now I did set up some brands as category’s but I do rather use /brands/
As pages if I can solve this.

Please keep in mind that the live site has ‘product categories’ now showing as brands to be able to have the side bar and categories showing but i want to use my plug in ‘perfect brands for woocomemrce’ as the url is much nicer like this

Plus it was like this with old theme (Don’t want to lose ranking in google) and now i am using WOODMART i would like to keep the same urls.
If you go to products> brands> you will see all brands listed and i want to be able to to do it for every brand page.

The “Show sidebar” and the “Filter” buttons appear when you have filters like on the “Shop” page.

So you need to define such filters there and recheck the issue.

I do not understand you. So I asked if BRAND PAGES. Like this link can show CATEGORIES and SIDEBAR/FILTER.

The image you sent was the shop and I know I can set side bar and categories on a shop page.

I am asking on a Brands page can I have a sidebar/filter and can I have the categories like the shop page has.

The “Show sidebar” and the “Filter” button appear when you have the sidebar area on the desktop’s Shop page.

This sidebar should be inherited from the “Shop” on the “Brands” page. In your case, I do not see it, because you have built the “Brand” page through the plugin. You need to check on the default theme for the presence of a sidebar on the “Brand” page that is built via the plugin, just to understand is it our theme issue or not. Most likely, your custom “Brand” page doesn’t indicate as a WooCommerce page so you have such an issue.

It won’t allow me to build a page also to add a category and sidebar…. I am trying to create a brand page for every brand and having problems of widgets not showing. You can see the setting of this page (Shared privately) and i can’t get it to work. I have attached the picture i am using. I even went to Elementor and used the widget and it will not show on this page or any working. So i am very stuck how to create a brands page (Without the plugIN) and add the side bar and category if nothing is working for me?? Any ideas??

Thanks so much Luke. I am trying to build a page not a shop page so maybe is that the issue?? I can’t name a shop page so it will not work it needs to be a page where i get to create the name/url. I am in elementor building a brands page. I gave you the link privately and you can log in and see what i have done and still things don’t seem to work. Filters not showing although i have products there to sort. Layout not showing right. Are you able to build a whole page in elementor with this theme and should it show good ?? i am new to this theme

As I wrote above, your “Brand” page doesn’t identify as a WooCommerce page so you have such an issue with the filters. Will be better to contact the plugin support team for further solutions.

Thanks again Luke but that link I gave you is Not a brand page from the plug in. That link is just a page I created In WordPress. Just like a page ‘about us’ ‘terms and conditions’

I created a brand new page in elementor and was adding widgets. I was adding theme widgets like side bar, product catogries, etc…. I hope that makes more sense. So my question was is the theme clashing with elementor and won’t let me creat a page (nothing to do with brands plug in) we already sorted that the side bar can’t be added to a ‘brands’ page as that is connected to plugin not the theme.

The thing is that the default page like ‘about us’ ‘terms and conditions’ or that you created earlier is not related to WooCommerce’s archive pages, thus there is no way to show filters. You can be sure of that by defining any default filter via widgets and checking it on the default WooCommerece theme, there you will see the same.
